Date Night
Last night, after FHE, I was asked if I would be interested in a Dinner/Movie date one night this week. I haven't responded yet, but it will be yes. Now the only thing I have to do is tell him that I am a vegetarian, since he offered to cook dinner. He said it would be a japanese curry (what kinds of things are in it anyway). Well, that's all for now.

My weekend
I had a great weekend and I hope there are many more to come! On Saturday morning I went to the All Fool's Day Parade that the city of Woodinville puts on every year. I took Oscar last year but he kind flipped out with the sirens of the fire trucks and police cars. It was so bad that I thought for sure he was going to have a seizure (it happens when he gets stressed) so this year I left him home. I didn't want to put him throught that again. Louis had asked me a few days ago if the family would mind if he came with me. He had never heard of this parade before (probably because he has lived in Bothell all his life) and thought it sounded fun. I told him that my family wouldn't mind and that it is a very fun event. He called me just as I was pulling into the Top Food parking lot and told me where to meet him. Then we went to meet up with the rest of my family (this includes my mom, two of my sisters, a brother in-law, niece and nephew). After the parade we went to get some cake that the city of Woodinville provided. Louis and I both had chocolate pieces (there was also vanilla too) and WOW it was good! I would have gotten a picture of it but by the time we got there, it was already almost half gone and I'm sure nobody wants to see that. After cake Louis and I walked over to Barnes and Noble for a little while. We looked at all sorts of books and also talked about the kind of books we enjoyed reading. It was very fun. We then went to a couple of other stores before each going home. When I checked the time on my phone it had been about 3 1/2 hours since the end of the parade. The time just flew by so fast! Now, here are some pictures from the day.

Life is great!
So yesterday was a great day, for more than one reason. The weather was so nice with lots of sunshine. I have been housesitting, so I got out of the house a little bit later than I had planned because I wanted to make sure that the dogs had a chance to play. I went home to do a few things before I went out.
Fast forward a few hours and I decide to go to the Wilmot- Gateway park in Woodinville with Oscar and then walk the Sammammish River Trail. I called up a friend of mine Louis to see if he wanted to join me. He didn't have any plans for the evening so he met me at the park and we started walking. We got to talking about many things and the time went by so fast! When we finally checked the time it had been two hours, so we decided to turn around and head back. It only took about an hour to get back to the park. It was so much fun though and we both had a great time. By the time I got home it was about 7:45 ish and I had to hurry and get my stuff together so that I could leave for the other house. The poor dogs hadn't been out since 11 am. I felt bad for them but at the same time I felt to good because I had so much fun. I'm hoping that there will be more fun times in the future!

In need of a dentist.
Over the past week my wisdom teeth have been bothering my badly. Tomorrow I am going to call the dentist office to make an appointment. Hopefully I can get in soon so my mouth won't be in anymore pain. Thank goodness for Kanka or else I don't think I would be able to get though this. On the plus side- I got a new phone *yeah*! I am so happy! My old one was well- old.
Also, on Friday I had to take one of my skinny pigs into the vet because she had sores all over her body. It turns out she has Ringworm! Could this week get any worse. I had to wash all the bedding, my clothes, the cage and house. Now I have two different ointments that I have to put on Vanilla Bean everyday for the next 4 weeks. I am also praying that none of the other animals or I get it.
Hopefully there will be better days in the future.

Christmas
Christmas this year was great. The family got together and had lots of fun! The first picture is how the stockings looked Christmas morning. We don't have a fireplace so we use the couch.

I got an air popper! WooHoo!

Almost ready for Christmas
Am I ready for Christmas? The answer is : not completely yet. Most of the shopping is done and now I just have to get some stocking stuffers. This year I asked the family if they wanted to draw names for stockings this year. They agreed that it would be a great idea, so we did. I am looking forward to getting gifts for the stocking I picked.

Santa Clause meets Santa Paws
I took Oscar to Redmond Lights last Saturday in his little Santa suit. It was so much fun and WOW... everyone loved his suit! I had about 20 people ask if they could get a picture of him and about 3 people ask if they could get a picture of their kids with him. It was so cute! Well, when the two Santas met each other it was really funny. The Santa had to keep wiping off his glasses because Oscar was sliming them with his kisses!
