Two parts down, one part to go. After opening presents at my house, Louis and I went over to his house so his family could open presents. We got there in the late morning because we wanted to have enough time for everyone to open their gifts before going to church. I brought my church clothes with me so I could just change at his house and put my pajamas back on after church. Now, let's go to the pictures.
His mom opening one of her gifts
His dad after opening his gift from me. It was a coin just like the one I gave Louis, but with his favorite plane on it.

Louis's sister Mercedes after opening her gift from me. It was the Iron Chef America game for Nintendo DS. It looked so fun; I almost wanted to keep it for myself!

After church- which was totally awesome- we made a stop off at my sister shelly's house so Louis and I could drop by a few presents for my nephew Owen and niece Gwyneth. Then, we watched as they opened them and saw how excited they were to play with the new toys. It was so worth the trip over there.
Next, we all went back to Louis's house because his brother, sister-in-law, nephew Caleb, and niece Hallie came over to open their presents from us. It was so much fun and I really enjoy seeing Caleb and Hallie. They are so cute!
That was a lot for Christmas Day, but I am finally done! It was a great day and I hope there are more to come in the next year.

Christmas Part 2
The post before was more about Christmas Eve, so this one is going to be about Christmas Day. The picture above is of my parent's tree that morning before all the presents got opened. Louis made it to my house early in the morning and then the craziness started.
Dan got the electronic Monopoly
I got an eeyore mug from my sweet boss Julia
Louis got the music to Toy Story 2 and gold coin from me and a fish tank light from my parents.
My mom got Yahtzee Flash and Dan got Lego Rockband for his Nintendo DS
I got a click stick for training Sadie. I have actually tried it with her since I got it and she is learning fast.
I got a really cute pillowcase from my mom and dad. And I also added a picture of Sadie and me. * Notice how well she is censored by herself*
Then we come to the gift from Louis. It was amazing- just like he is. Plus it had a little bit of everything!
Here is proof of just how cool it was.
It was a great Christmas with my family, but it wasn't over yet. Next, we went over to Louis's house to watch his family open presents. That will be in part 3.
Christmas Part 1
Christmas was great this year for more than one reason. First, and most important, I had Louis in my life this year. I really believe that Love finds you when you need it most. January of last year I felt like I was going nowhere in my life. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do for a living, my last grandparent had recently passed away, and I was constantly butting heads with my mother. It seemed like the only time I was happy was when I went to church. That's not a bad thing- but I wanted there to be more to my life than just church to make me happy.
Then, like the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, Louis came to save the day. My life was like a rainbow. It seemed like it went on forever but at the same time, not really going anywhere. That is until I met Louis at the end of my rainbow.
There are so many things that have happened in the past year that I don't think I would have gotten through, not easily anyway, without him there to make me feel better. Having my wisdom teeth taken out, having to put Lilly to sleep, telling my boss from my full time job that I couldn't work for her anymore because she was a jerk, or even just having someone to talk to when I happen to have an argument with my mother. I can not thank him enough.
Back to Christmas. Christmas Eve was so much fun. Louis came over in the morning and we went out to get a few last minute things for Christmas morning and also some stocking stuffers for my dad. We got back to the house around 3 pm and my sister Angelique was at the house. My sister Lily, her husband Magnus, and Joel were there too. After eating a taco salad, I got to hang out with the family before the games were brought out. First, we all played Disney Apples to Apples. If you have never played that game with more than 8 people- you don't know funny! We had so much fun until my parent's dog Bradley came into the room with chocolate on his face. As most people know, chocolate is very toxic to dogs. We found out that the source was Joel's fudge. It was in a container, but Bradley broke into it and we were not sure how much he had eaten. I went into my bathroom to get my bottle of hydrogen peroxide because my parents didn't have any. We used this to make Bradley throw up the fudge and avoid a trip to the emergency vet. It worked and out came about a cup of fudge. This is how sad he was in the bathtub.
Once that problem was fixed, the games continued. We played for a while longer before we got to open some presents.
I was so happy when I opened my present from Angelique.
This was my Christmas tree before all the presents were gone.
That's a lot for one post. So I think I'm going to do this in two parts.

Garden D' Lights
It's been so long since I have posted anything. It has been really crazy this month, but it has been really fun! At the beginning of December, Louis went with me to Redmond lights. We took Oscar and Sadie with us and it was great. Sadie played it safe in the dog stroller because that is her safe zone, but Oscar was saying hi to everyone he met. There were so many people who wanted to get pictures of him in his Santa suit.
Now I will talk about the Garden D'Lights at the Bellevue Botanical Garden. I pre-ordered the tickets for it because that is what is recommended on the website. That way we wouldn't have to wait in line for tickets. My sister Lily and her husband Magnus picked Louis and I up from my house. The garden was amazing and I am so glad we all went together because we all had a great time!
The jellyfish lights
The octopus and starfish
The fountain
The peacock
The Garden with butterflies
Charlotte's Web
Bird and birdhouse
The friendly dragon
Me and Louis
