I took Oscar to Redmond Town Center tonight while he was dressed up. People loved seeing him in his costume. He went as a pig and everyone thought it fit his personality. If he looks mad in the pictures, it's because he is.

Housesitting
I do housesitting as a side job and it is so much fun. Sometimes (like now) are busier than others. Holidays are when I get the most business. Right now I am watching an Australian Shepherd named Spirit. She is half blind and half deaf, but that doesn't stop her from doing anything. There is also a cat who is super old. I will send pictures as soon as I can, which won't be until the weekend because I'm starting another housesitting job tomorrow.

Lake Washington and a baby shower
This weekend was really busy. I went to Lake Washington to visit a friend, then helped host a baby shower for a coworker. It was so much fun! Saturday I went to Costco to get some food because there was going to be about 20 women at the shower (plus the mom-to-be was really hungry too). The baby shower was great. There were lots of games and prizes and it was fun.
I also went to Lake Washington to visit my friend Melanie. She and her husband adopted a dog that we used to have, but couldn't keep because he didn't like kids. We love to visit each other every once in a while. They live right on the lake, so it was an easy walk to the water and the park.
Tucker and Oscar had so much fun running off-leash in the park.
Here is a picture of Tucker
Tucker loves swimming after the ball in the water. I wish my dog dog that!
All Oscar did was wade in the water looking for rocks. His favorite game is to dunk his head under the water, pick up a rock in his mouth, bring it back to shore, then go back into the water and repeat the process. The tides did make his game a little harder.
When we got back to the house Oscar enjoyed getting loves from Melanie

SHOW AND TELL!
Every Friday I will show a few pictures and tell about them. This week I thought I would introduce my pack.
There is my 3 yr old Boston Terrier Oscar. He is really spunky and friendly, but he is also an airhead. He is also very accident prone, but I love him.
Next, there is Ginger. He is a 4 yr old Abyssinian guinea pig. He got his name because he was supposed to be a girl. I had a female at the time that was too old to breed, so the pet store I got him from payed for him to get neutered because they were only supposed to sell females.

Then there is Lilly. She is a 2 yr old Sheltie (aka Silkie) guinea pig who I rescued from a family that couldn't keep her. Ginger is in love and can't live without her. She should have long hair all over her body, but she barbers herself (notice the uneven hair in the back).

A walk to the creek
I decided to take a walk the the creek this afternoon to see if the salmon were there yet. I saw some when I went on the pipeline last week, but didn't have my camera with me. Here are some pics.
Here is a beautiful tree that was in a neighbor's yard
Some typical Washington weather
Me on some of the trails
So, we finally got to the creek and.... NO SALMON! I walked all that way for nothing.
Oscar and I looked for them in the water.
