Someone hates Spongebob Squarepants

A few weeks ago I opened a box of cereal(it was either Trix or Cocoa Puffs) and there was a little toy Spongebob Squarepants at the bottom of the box. The other day, my chihuahua Sadie got ahold of it. Well, let's just say she voiced her opinion about the little square dude. She got her point across very clearly. I really don't blame her though.

Toy Story 3

Yesterday I ordered 2 tickets for Me and Louis to see Toy Story 3 on ice next Friday. It should be a lot of fun and I am so excited! I can't wait to go out and I am really interested in how they put it together in the ice. I will defininely be bringing my camera that night to get pictures.

Louis plays Pokemon

Sunday night after church got out, Louis and I went over to my sister's house for dinner. My nephew Owen was so happy because he couldn't wait for Louis to play Pokemon with him. It was so cute watching Owen show Louis how to play. I just had to take a picture! It was one of those priceless moments.

Hallie's Birthday Party

Louis has the cutest niece Hallie. When I heard that her birthday party was going to be last Saturday, the 22nd, I was all for going. I wouldn't have missed it for anything. Louis and I went to pick up his father at his work first and then drove down to Renton where the party was going to be. It was so much fun and the night couldn't have gone any better (I've been saying that a lot lately). It was a total girl party- pink everywhere, but it was so cute too!

The drinking cups. What a fun idea!

Louis made this heart for me from one of the the little necklaces. He is so sweet!

This wasn't all the presents. Not everyone was there when I took the picture.

Hallie and the cake, Hallie helping cut the cake, and Hallie eating the cake. YUM!

Hallie opening the present from me and Louis

It was just a great night!

Baby Salamanders week ???

I know I have lost track of the weeks, so I will just do an update. They are still growing bigger and I had to put them into a 2.5 gallon tank because the other one was getting too small. They are so cute now. They each have their own spot where they bury themselves. The pictures below are before I put them in the new tank.

School is on hold

This one is tough to write but people would find out sooner or later.

I was supposed to start school at the beginning of this week, October 24th, but I have put it on hold for the time being. It wasn't the easiest thing to do but I know it's the best thing for me right now.

Within the last month there have been so many changes in my life that I need to get things back in order before going to school or else I am going to be so focused on everything going on that I won't be able to focus on learning and studying. I will explain:

First, my hip has been acting up again. I'm sad to say this because I really bummed about it. After talking with the orthopedic surgeon I learned that it is most likely scar tissue that has built up. He suggested that I go to physical therapy and massage therapy. How was I going to fit that into my schedule along with school and work?

Another thing that came up was the problems with my teeth. I wasn't expecting my wisdom teeth to need to come out. Now I am having a consult with an orthodontist about getting braces. How would I be able to fit that into my schedule along with everything else?

Then, there is the issue about my job. I mean, I really like my boss, but I wasn't expecting her to not keep her word and not give me the hours I need to be able to stay with her. I mean, is it so hard to give me at least 15 hours a week? I have given her five weeks now and she has not held up her end of the bargain. That's just one more stress in my life that I don't need right now, so I am looking for a new job that can give me more hours so I can get enough money to save for school and pay for bills at the same time.

That being said- Pima Medical Institute is going to contact me in the spring to see how I am doing and to see if I am ready to come back then. If not, I will just wait until I am ready. It has to be the right time for me and I need to be ready for it. I just have to keep thinking that everything happens for a reason. I may not know what that is right now, but I know that God already has a plan for me. Before I made this decision, I prayed and my mother also prayed for me, that I would get the answer I needed. I know that I got my answer.

I am also thankful that I have so many family and friends that are so supportive of me. I will be okay and I will stay strong.

This year Louis and I were going to dress up this year for Halloween as Robin Hood and Maid Marian. He found a place online that had the costumes we wanted at a good price, so he pre-ordered them because they were not in stock yet. That was way back in September. Fast forward one month and the costumes are still not in! Needless to say, he canceled the order and we are just going to dress up the dogs this year. When we were going to do the Robin Hood theme- Oscar was going to be Robin's sidekick Little John. Now he is going to be a mailman and sadie is going to be a priority mail flat rate box. It is going to be so cute!

We are going to go to my parent's ward Trunk-Or-Treat on Saturday and it is going to be a lot of fun.

I guess we will just have to plan out our costumes for next year!

Wisdom teeth are finally out!

I couldn't be happier about posting this! About a month and a half ago my wisdom teeth started to bother me.......a lot! I mean, the pain was keeping me up and night so I couldn't get a good night's sleep. Knowing that I would be starting school on the 24th I wanted to at least get it done within two weeks of that day. I was able to get the surgery done on October 13th and I was so happy that I wouldn't be having anymore pain.

I really like the dentist that did the surgery. She was very funny and I wasn't scared at all. She made it a good experience.

I don't remember much about the car ride home. I was so sleepy from the sedation. That night my father had a bus run and my mom *HAD* to go to Shelly's house while Mark was gone for a few days. Since I had to have a responsible adult with me for the first 24 hours, Louis got to be lucky on to stay with me. He made sure that I was okay and that I took my medicine at the right time. We watched The Day After Tomorrow.

I am really thankful that he came over several times to keep me company. It would have been really lonely without him there. * THANK YOU LOUIS!* Just had to say it again.

Volunteer Appreciation Banquet

On October 8th Louis and I went to his Volunteer Appreciation Banquet at the Tulalip Resort. It was such a fantastic night! We both had so much fun, the food was great, and there was even some entertainment too! It couldn't have been any better!

The lights in the room were amazing!

Here is the program and fun crossword puzzle

The napkins were folded into a little fan. It was really cool.

The award and gift that Louis got for volunteering

I was so happy when I got home!

Gwyneth's Birthday party

I have a feeling that I am going to be playing catch up for the next couple of posts. So much has happened!

September 24th was my niece's 4th Birthday party. I can't believe she is 4 already. Time goes by so fast! It was a lot of fun and I know that she really liked the gifts that Louis and I got her.

Here is the cake

Let me explain the next few pictures. We lit the candles and then sang "Happy Birthday". In the middle of the song Gwyneth decided to blow the candles out, so we had to light them again to get through the rest of the song.

Here she is with the present from me and Louis

Here she is with the little Pascal from Tangled and also with the princess jewelry box. Both were from us. She loved them!

I'm not really sure why she was doing this but it is so cute!

I just love my niece Gwyneth!

Busy, busy, busy

So, I should start off by saying that it has been super crazy at my house. That's most likely the reason why I haven't blogged in several weeks. Let me tell you, a lot can happen in a month! Some things good, some not so good. There is a lot to fit in so I will try to do just that.

After my last post, my father's side of the family had the annual reunion at Mukilteo Lighthouse Park. Louis went with me and it was so much fun! We both had an awesome time and he got to meet more of my family.

Here we are on the beach

Walking along the beach with Oscar. It was low tide.

We found a starfish and I had to really pull hard to get it up so I could throw it back in the water. It didn't want to let go of the rocks!

Me, my brother Dan, and my sister Angelique

Me and Louis together. We really had a great time. I love him so much!

By the end of the pictures, this is what the feeling was. I had been laughing really hard before this point. I don't even remember doing this.

I will have to write more posts to get caught up with everything.
