Poor Little Duck

The other day I went to the park with my mom to take Oscar swimming in the lake. We saw this little duck that had a broken wing! It didn't seem to be hurting the little guy, but it looked like it hurt a lot. It was probably an old injury and I know he won't be able to fly. He is still getting enough to eat because he was not skinny at all.

A park in Monroe

Last week Louis and I went to Monroe to pick up my pictures from the fair and we made a stop at a park (I think it was the Lewis street park). We took the dogs with us and went on a few trails too. It was so much fun! Here are some pictures from that day.

Baby Salamanders Week 3

These pics were from last week so I will have week 4 in the next few days. They are growing so fast! The two bigger ones eat about 8 bloodworms a day and the little runt eats only 4 daily.
Here, one is on my finger.
All three together.
Eating yummy bloodworms!
There are two of them next to a ruler. The first is one of the bigger babies. The second one is the runt.

Evergreen State Fair 2011

The fair this year was great! I went a total of two times. Once with Louis and his family on opening day (it was free admission until 2pm). The second time, Louis went with my family and it was also a lot of fun. This year one of my pictures one first place and the creative award.
The little baby pigs were so cute! They were only 7 days old.
The baby goats were really cute too.
When Louis went with my family, we went to see the lumberjack show. It's always a must see event.
My niece and nephew came went to the fair too. My sister, her husband, and my mom went on the kid rides with them.
Louis and I played a game of mini golf. It was so much fun, but we felt really rushed because the people behind us were going really fast.
See me roar!
Here Louis is giving the bear a high five.

My car is back!

I finally got my car back two weeks ago and I am so happy! I am very thankful that my family and Louis were able to take me places, but it is really nice to be able to drive myself again. So far my car is working great and there are no new problems.

Baby Salamanders

At the beginning of August I took in six tadpoles from the neighbor's pond. Sadly. 3 of them drowned when they were starting to become salamanders and didn't need so much water. The other three are doing very well and growing so much. These pictures were taken several weeks ago when they were just out of the tadpole stage. They are bigger now and I will post updates every week.

Ellensburg

On August 19th I went with Louis and his sister to Ellensburg, Washington. His sister is going to be starting back at school this month and she wanted to take some things to her apartment over there. It was a long drive in the morning because we had to leave around 7am. I slept most of the way there because I was really tired. It was so beautiful on the other side of the mountains.

In between sleeping I took these pictures

This is what Ellensburg looked like that day.

Always listen to Smokey!

Some pictures of the school campus

I can't wait to go there again!

Leavenworth

On August 17, my mom and I went with Louis and his family to Leavenworth for the day. It was so much fun and we all had a great time.

Here we are together

It was a nice little town

Here I am in crazy glasses and hat

My family plans on going there again soon. It will be so much fun!
